In January, we participated for the first time in the Colours of Sepsis congress in Ostrava, an annual event dedicated to physicians and nurses working in intensive care. The congress has a postgraduate character and is considered an established professional meeting in the field of intensive care medicine.
We took part in the congress as exhibitors, with our new anesthesia device as the main highlight of our presentation. The device attracted significant interest from attendees, and feedback from both physicians and nursing staff was very positive. We also received concrete inquiries regarding its potential purchase. Our participation in this event was particularly important as it marked our company’s first presentation at this type of congress. Our goal was to introduce a new product line that we plan to launch in the near future and to establish personal contacts with healthcare professionals from clinical practice. The congress was also attended by a large number of physicians from Slovakia, contributing to the high professional level of the event and to engaging expert discussions.
The Chirana AURA ventilator was also presented, developed as part of the successfully implemented project “Research and development of a system for improving the ventilation of patients with COVID-19 or other heterogeneous lung damage” (ITMS2014+ 313011ATG9). The project was co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Programme Integrated Infrastructure 2014–2020, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic. Its development involved a team of internal, external, and international experts, including physicians and specialists from the USA and Switzerland. The ventilator was designed by doctors for doctors and patients and features several unique technologies, such as multi-level ventilation, artificial cough, controlled expiratory support, and an intuitive Easy Screen interface. These innovations contribute to improving the quality of care and saving lives both in Slovakia and abroad.
We plan to continue our participation in the Colours of Sepsis congress in the coming years.
