INVESTMENTS IN TECHNOLOGY - MORE THAN € 2 MILL

During the last 12 months, CHIRANA Medical, a.s. reinvested in technologies worth more than 2.2 mil. €. The decisive part of these investments was the implemented project "Innovation of the production process of CHIRANA Medical, a.s." worth €1,673,894, which was co-financed with the help of the European Regional Development Fund and the intermediary body Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic, while the value of the contribution from the EU amounted to €585,862.90.

The company installed new intelligent technologies such as Caroba Laser Dental rotor balancing equipment, Starrag Vuadens SA BUMOTEC CNC turning-milling center, Robotec FD-V8L cabin welding robot, DMG MORI/DMU 50 4-axis milling center with robotization, iTechnology for painting parts Galatek and other advanced technological units.

New technologies have improved the quality of the production process, mainly from the point of view of increasing automation, eliminating partial inefficient operations, brought about an increase in the robotization of production operations, an increase in the digitization of production, a reduction in production time and, last but not least, an increase in work productivity, the quality of the production process, an increase in work safety and an improvement in the impact of technology on life environment.
