Our company was personally visited by the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Igor Matovič and the Minister of Health of the Slovak Republic Marek Krajčí to conclude a historical contract with the company's management for the supply of 300 intensive care units for Slovak hospitals on April 4th, 2020. It was a great challenge and responsibility for our company, which we accepted and decided to take this difficult test together with our employees. The signing of the contract was followed by a press conference in the presence of all media.
"In Chirana, they have decided to quadruple production to meet Slovakia's needs. I am very glad that we have agreed. Today, nobody of us knows who will be the patient and who will need pulmonary ventilation during the difficult time that we are definitely facing now.."said Prime Minister Igor Matovic after signing the agreement. He assumes that thanks to the new Chirana breathing units, it will be possible to cover the needs of the country in the fight against coronavirus. "In this extraordinary situation, we have decided to produce breathing apparatus only for Slovakia. We want to do everything to handle this difficult situation very well. Our devices have a unique mode of multi-level ventilation which is only one solution to recover hardly damaged lungs of patients.." explained Ján Brkal, CEO of Chirana Medical.
