The anaesthesia workstation VENAR OMEGA meets the highest standards. The device is equipped with modern electronic ventilator that works with all modes of ventilation to cover all range of patients from pediatric to adult. The device has an integrated monitoring system ANEMON wich includes complex analysis of anesthetic gases as well as complete monitoring of the inspiration and expiration. ANEMON system also performs the function of an electronic flow-meter and brings a detailed analysis of of the patient´s hemodynamic parameters aswell.

The unit VENAR OMEGA was developed to integrate all CHIRANA experiences since 1968 with the newest technologies and all collected requests and demands of doctors from area of anesthesiology.

The device has integrated monitoring module Profilungs that also carries out the function of flow meter, allowing for comfortable and safe control and monitoring of the quantity and concentration of the incoming fresh gas to the patient. It performs all the functions of Profilungs (Computer assited ventilation, diagnosis of lung mechanical properties, archiving, optimizing ...). The device is controlled through 15" touch screen intuitive user interface.

The innovation is the possibility to equip the device with a station with linear dosing syringe, BIS monitoring and wireless connestion to central monitoring system Chirana ICARD. The size of touch screen display for the patient monitor is optional from 15" up to 21.5 ".

  • MAN - manual ventilation, using bag

  • SPONT - ventilation with spontaneous patient´s breathing

  • Modes SIMV-PS, PS and SPONT are required for process optimization and synchronization of patient´s  breathing with the ventilator

  • MLV - multi level ventilation

  • Integrated monitor Anemon than one at the same time shows the hemodynamic data, gas analysis, and electronic flow-meter setting. There is secured a protection against interference from defibrillation or electrosurgical devices as well.

  • Display: Colour TFT screen with size 12,1“

  • At the same time, the screen shows min. 5 curves and more than 10 windows to display various parameters. It is possible to view minitrends to each curve

  • Interface: control functions of the flow meter, gas and hemodynamic monitoring, settings and display of information from one place

  • analysis of O2 from inspirium and expirium

  • analysis of CO2 from inspirium and expirium, displaying of respiratory rate in the airways (AwRR)

  • analysis of N2O and 5 gases: HAL, ENF, ISO, SEV, DES, automatic identification of gas

  • analysis and display of mini trends of gas concentration differences (FiAA – EtAA)

  • display the importance of MAC parameter - the minimum alveolar concentration (necessary to support the unavoidable inhalation anesthetics volume in the airways)

  • BAL parameter value - the partial pressure of gas impurities or their volume concentration in the circuit ("nitrogen window") – it is a very important parameter for the low-flow and minimal-flow anaesthesia or for work with completely closed circuit

  • NIBP measurement and display: systolic, diastolic, medium (method of measurement – oscillometric)

  • SpO2 module has to ensure displaying of SpO2, PR (pulse rate) and PLETH (pletizmographic curve)

  • ECG measurement system provides 3-channels ECG record, evaluates min. 13 kinds of cardiac arrhythmias, pacemaker work, 3-channels analysis of ST – segment

  • Temp module provides temperature measurements from 2 independent channels

  • in the case of buying optional BIS measurement module, the device allows to monitor so-called bispectral index, which motices the patient's depth of anesthesia

  • monitoring all of parameters including mechanics of lungs (Ti, Te, PAi, PAE, PEEP, Cst, Cdyn, Vt, Mv, f, ...)

  • monitoring through the graphs and dynamic loops for better overview of patient’s respiratory organs status and dynamics
